News: Jap Awards

Nintendo have been picking up more awards, this time in their home country.

Recently, the Computer Entertainment and Software Association (CESA) have given out awards to what they feel were the best games from Jan 2001 to March 2002.

Nintendo picked up two awards in the highly prestigious 'excellence' category, for Pikmin and Animal Forest + (Animal Crossing to you).

The organisation also made it's predictions for next years awards, based on software shown at the Tokyo Games Show this year. Nintendo weren't in attendance for the show, yet 3 of the fifteen predicted titles were on Nintendo platforms. Rockman EXE 3 and Final Fantasy Tactics for the GBA, along with Biohazard Zero for the GameCube.
