Namco held a press conference today, regarding one of their most highly anticipated titles, Tales of Symphonia. The company revealed that they plan to sell at least 500,000 copies of the game in the land of the rising sun, Japan. To aid sales of the title, Namco revealed that, in collaboration with Nintendo, they will be releasing a special edition, Tales of Symphonia themed, GameCube. The console will come in a nice mint colour and features one of the title's characters in the circle on top of the unit. The price is not known of the package, but it was revealed that it will launch on August 28, 2003. It is unclear whether the package will make an appearance on European soil, or in America for that matter. You can view the special edition GameCube below.
