Three bold new colours for the DSi LL range are set to hit Japan later this month...

Since launching in Japan late last year, the DSi LL (known as the XL to us folk) has performed admirably well at retail in the face of predictions that it would sink. However, with console sales across the board declining in Japan, Nintendo have announced that three new colours of the DSi LL will release in the region on June 19th.

The three new colours are a rather attractive yellow, green and blue.

The announcement comes as Nintendo also confirm price drops for the DSi range in Japan. It seems the company are actively looking to stem an increasingly sluggish tide that is the Japanese market.

No word on these new colours making it west. In Europe, the only colours the DSi XL remains available in are dark brown and wine red.
