News: Japan Goes Micro September 13th

Nintendo announce the Japanese public will get their mits on the latest GBA incarnation from September 13th, 2005.

On this day the latest in a long line of Nintendo handhelds hits the shelves over in Japan. Giving the new system some company will also be a couple of new titles set to launch with the system.

20th Anniversary Mario Bros, Camelot's Mario Tennis Advance and a Dr Mario and Puzzle de Pon double pack will all be launched the same day, and no doubt help sales of the Micro further.

How much the Micro will retail for has yet to be confirmed, but logic would put it between the current price of the GBA SP and Nintendo DS, unless the former sees a price-cut when the Micro is launched.

Still no news of when the Micro will launch in the rest of the world, but we expect to hear news on this soon. It's launch is expected worldwide sometime towards the end of this year.
