News: Japanese Get Club Mario Gifts

Are you a platinum member of Japanese Nintendo rewards scheme Club Mario? Thought not. Head inside to find out what you'd be getting if you were...

For those Japanese Nintendo fans, Nintendo has a treat in store. Or two treats actually, from which gamers who have a Club Nintendo account can now choose from.

Only open to "Platinum" users - those who have registered more than 400 points in 2006 - the deal offers either an exclusive free DS game, Tingle's Balloon Fight, or a battery cover for your Wii-mote decorated with a picture of a Mii (whether you can customise it with your own, we're not yet sure).

Pictures of these rather nifty gifts can be found over on the Club Nintendo page, which leaves us feeling rather left out here in Europe. When are Nintendo of Europe putting Wii Points on our Stars Catalogue again? Or for that matter, when are they giving Europeans the full range of features on NintendoWiFi.com? We're not holding our breath...
