News: Japanese NES Ambassador Titles Revealed

The ten NES titles that Japanese 3DS Ambassadors will be able to download have been revealed.
After announcing a few months ago that early adopters of the Nintendo 3DS would be rewarded with twenty free titles, ten NES games and ten Game Boy games, Nintendo has remained quiet about exactly what gamers could expect. This Thursday Ambassadors will be able to download the ten NES titles and Nintendo has unveiled what games will be available in Japan.
The full list includes entries from beloved Nintendo franchises such as Mario, Zelda and Metroid that are bound to please retro fans. The ten titles that will be available are as follows:
- Super Mario Bros.
- Donkey Kong Jr.
- Balloon Fight
- Ice Climbers
- The Legend of Zelda
- Wrecking Crew
- Mario Open Golf ('NES Open Tournament Golf' in the West)
- Yoshi's Egg ( 'Mario & Yoshi' in the West)
- Metroid
- The Adventure of Link
The list may change in other territories but there is a good probability it will remain the same as in Japan. Full details about the Game Boy titles, due out some point this year, have not been revealed but so far we know they include the following games:
- Yoshi's Island
- Metroid Fusion
- Wario Ware
- Mario Kart: Super Circuit
- Mario vs. Donkey Kong
- Kirby and the Amazing Mirror
- Super Mario Advance. 4
