Opening weekend sales figures anyone?
Release to clamouring and sweaty Japanese gamers at the end of last week, the details from just the first two days of the console's launch have hit the web. In the first two days 350,358 Wii consoles were bought, along with with 631,479 units of software, making a healthy ratio of 1.8 copies of software bought per Wii console to date.
It's worth remebering, as we reported last night, that Nintendo since the opening weekend Nintendo have now sold through their full 400,000 Wii consoles in Japan's first batch, and all these figures are likely to significantly higher by now.
Software wise, here's how it ran down:

- Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Nintendo) - 139,011
- WarioWare: Smooth Moves (Nintendo) - 63,954
- Super Swing Golf (Tecmo) - 16,908
- Ennichi no Tatsujin (Bandai Namco) - 10,763
- Red Steel (Ubisoft) - 9,392
- SD Gundam: Scad Hammers (Bandai Namco) - 9,226
- Tamagotchi no Pika (Bandai Namco) - 8,042
- Elebits (Konami) - 5,791
- Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (Sega) - 4,423
- Crayon Shin-Chan: King Wii (Banpresto) - 4,248
- Trauma Center: Second Opinion (Atlus) - 4,107
