Nintendo of Japan confirm the Wii titles seeing release in 2007, and there's some very big names in there...
While it'd be better to have specific dates for the following titles, it is good to know that Nintendo plans to release all of them within the next twelve months in Japan (and hopefully Europe too). The list comprises practically all the first-party Nintendo titles we've had a glimpse at so far, including games delayed from the GameCube to become next-gen titles.
The list in full is as follows:
- Battalion Wars II
- Big Brain Academy
- Disaster: Day of Crisis
- DK Kongo Blast
- Excite Truck
- Fire Emblem: Goddess of Dawn
- Forever Blue
- Mario Party 8
- Mario Strikers Charged
- Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
- Project H.A.M.M.E.R.
- Super Mario Galaxy
- Super Paper Mario
- Super Smash Bros. Brawl
- Wii Health Pack
- Wii Music
Additionally, Nintendo confirmed the development of Animal Crossing, Eyeshield 21 and Kirby, though did not list them as 2007 release.
It's good to see the interesting demo of Wii Music will see a full release in some form, though we're not quite sure what the Wii Health Pack will be. Updates to system firmware for those without an internet connection, maybe? We can but speculate. More as we get it.
