The two titles, Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds and Judge Dredd: Dredd vs Death have been highly anticipated but are being canned for the GameCube in Europe.

Both of the games are good games based on licences, the Buffy the Vampire Slayer television series and the Judge Dredd comic book series. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds has sold well in America and launched on the PS2 and Xbox in Europe.

While Vivendi have yet to release an official statement they did inform us of the cancellations. They did not give a reason for the cancellations.

UPDATE: 23-10-2003
It appears Vivendi is still going to release Buffy in the UK. Unfortunately for the Dutch and the Belgians the game will definitely not be released in the Benelux. If you are after the game and can't find it in your country, there now is the option to import it straight from the UK.

UPDATE: 24-10-2003
We have got good news! We just got off the phone with the Vivendi distributers and they told us they had made a mistake and both titles will still be released for the Nintendo GameCube in Europe.

Judge Dredd however has been pushed back to a December 19th release, and Buffy is still on track to be released this friday.

We sure are happy with this news as Judge Dredd and Buffy are two very highly anticipated titles among our staff.
