Nintendo of America's Perrin Kaplan talks about the latest Game Boy incarnation and the company's Wi-Fi plans!

Kaplan has said the upcoming Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection would be secure and would possibly include the option for players to send each other the wireless demos of games which are currently availiable by DS Download Play. She also mentioned that the new Blue coloured DS wouldn't be the last new colour released in the US.

Speaking on the Game Boy Micro, she explained the handheld would launch with a variety of faceplates availiable for purchase, and that some faceplates would no doubt become collector's items, for example limited edition ones given away.

Special offers through the My Nintendo rewards program (the US version of Nintendo Europe's Stars Catalogue) were very possible. Let's just hope Nintendo Europe catches on to this good idea!
