Dr. Kawashima has taken his fearsome pixelly head over to Namco Bandai to make a mobile phone game.

The menacing Dr. Kawashima, who appears in giant pixelly head form in the popular chart-topping series Brain Training on the DS, has packed up his neurology charts and taken them over to a new publisher, who plan on releasing a mobile phone version of Brain Training in Japan.

Brain Coach With Dr. Kawashima is published by Namco Bandai, responsible for Mario Kart Arcade GP 2. The mobile game will apparently contain all the usual minigames and exercises to work your brain into the neurological equivalent of an Olympic athelete on steroids. The game is due out by the end of the year in Japan, and with any luck it'll see the light of day in the West shortly after (and judging by the success of the DS titles over here, it will).
