Irrational Games' creative director says his studio has no current plans to develop for Wii U, despite appearing during Nintendo's E3 conference...
One image Nintendo was very keen to broadcast during E3 was that of a torrent of third parties expressing their interests in the Wii U platform. One of the big names to show support during Nintendo's own conference was Ken Levine, co-founder of Irrational Games - best known these days for creating the BioShock games.
However, if you expected Levine to actually want to work on the system, that would apparently be asking too much. Speaking to IGN, he stated there are "no plans to do any games" for Wii U. Rather than provide a reason, Levine went on to say how much being able to play "core" games whilst in bed means to him, and Wii U's ability to provide that through its controller is "so important" to him.
