The systems gets its best week since mid-February...
Not long after doing decently in the UK, Kid Icarus Uprising has soared to the top of the Media Create chart in Japan.
Masahiro Sakurai's latest was the highest selling new release of the week by some margin. After a blitzkrieg of promotion, there were sporadic shop reports of the game selling out before the end of the week - perhaps unsurprising given Nintendo's general reluctance to flood stores with stock.
A slew of new 3DS bundles also saw several big games enjoy a boost.
The software chart for the week of March 19th to March 25th is as follows.

The release of Kid Icarus Uprising and the aforementioned new 3DS bundles saw the hardware enjoy its strongest week for over a month. Despite plenty of new releases across other platforms, there wasn't much change elsewhere in the chart, with the aged Wii threatening a daring assault on the floundering Vita.
