Tetsuya Nomura, producer of Kingdom Hearts 3DS, has detailed some new information about the title.

Famitsu has recently spoken to Tetsuya Nomura about the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3DS and the information has been translated by Andriasang.

The title will give players the chance to play as both Sora and Riku and they are hoping to indicate differences in characters through the gameplay. Nomura remained quiet when asked why the two characters appear as they did in the original timeframe but did state that the reason why will be unveiled in the game.

The team have completed the central gameplay systems and are now testing them to figure out the best way to implement them. They also plan to use all new Disney worlds this time around, although Traverse Town and other original creations will still make an appearance.

Tetsuya Nomura also hinted that the '3' in the title could be significant as the gameplay and story could be related to Kingdom Hearts III and the ending may lead to Kingdom Hearts III.
