News: Kirby Goes Golfing On VC

Kirby's Dream Course and Bloody Wolf are this week's Virtual Console releases in Europe. Fore!

This week Nintendo stalwart Kirby pops onto the Virtual Console in the quirky SNES golf title Kirby's Dream Course. Gone are the peaceful greens that golf fans normally know; in their place are devious obstacles, traps and enemies. Originally released back in 1995, Kirby assumes the role of the ball, soaring through the air and rolling across the courses. Players must use our pink hero and his special powers to smash enemies out of the way around 64 colourful courses before sinking himself to complete each hole. Available to download now for 800 Wii Points.

Also available this week is the 1990 Turbografx action title Bloody Wolf. Players assume the role of a special-forces commando as they go deep behind enemy lines to rescue the kidnapped President. There are eight scenes to overcome, each with its own challenging boss - and also includes a scene not featured in the original arcade game. Available now for 600 Wii Points.
