Kirby Mouse Attack

News: Kirby Mouse Attack Release Date

Known as Squeak Squad in the US, the title gets a release date for Europe...

The Nintendo DS game Kirby Mouse Attack will be released in Europe on the 22nd June 2007.

When a bunch of mice, known as the Squeak Squad, snatch Kirby's strawberry shortcake (from a picnic), and a load of treasure (which appears to be less important than the strawberry shortcake), Kirby must set out to save all the treasure. And the strawberry shortcake. He must travel through 50 levels over 8 worlds chasing the Squeak Squad, upgrading his abilities along the way.

There are 25 abilities that can be upgraded, which include the new bubble and tornado abilities, and this time they can also affect the environment. Burn trees and grass with Fire, freeze water with Ice. The touch screen is used to select abilities, and to mix two abilities together. On top of this, you can collect sub items. 3 Mini-Kirbys will stomach you an extra life, 3 stars will give you temporary invincibility.

Like all Kirby games, abilities are gained by sucking in enemies, then swallowing (you can spit instead, if you want to). Extra levels, and bonus game content can be unlocked by finding the treasure in the game.

There are also 3 multiplayer minigames, Speedy Teatime, Smash Ride and Treasure Shot. The game will be out on the 22nd June for an RRP of 30.
