Ready, get set, go! Fasten your seatbelts as Kirby, the legendary pink puffball, makes his debut on the Nintendo GameCube in a fun-packed racing adventure. In a new twist there is no accelerator in this race, so you can focus on collecting as many items as you can as you speed your way to the finish line. Kirby Air Ride is available across Europe from 26th February 2004.

Join Kirby as he screeches, slides, ducks and dives through nine amazing tracks, exploring every nook and cranny of his magical world to find shortcuts and secret areas. Kirby Air Ride offers players the chance to compete on a track that is all about steering, attacking, boosting and using special powers gained by collecting items.

Kirby Air Ride invites players on an exciting journey with 15 different racing machines to choose from and three exclusive game modes. In addition to the main Air Ride mode, there is a top down racing mode called Top Ride in which up to 4 players race on one TV screen, as well as a City Trial mode where players have to collect power ups before taking part in a battle stage using those items.

Kirby is an all time Nintendo favourite, having previously appeared in many classic Game Boy and Game Boy Advance titles. This is his first Nintendo GameCube game although he has had a cameo appearance in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Kirby Air Ride is available across Europe from 26th February 2004 at the estimated retail price of 60 Euros.
