Konami has plans to close down its Waikiki offices at the end of the year.

Konami Hawaii has brought you titles such as: Frogger Beyond, Frogger's Adventures 2: The Lost Wand, and Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix. Although none of these games have actually graced a Nintendo console, its strange to see such a major developer shut down one of its studios.

We should hear an offical statement from Konami sometime soon. More as it breaks.
