Heard of Konductra? Probably not. The DS puzzler's designer talked to a website about the game before its expected release.
Ian Dunlop, president of the developer, oeFunwho, seems to have created the game almost single-handedly, chatted to Sliced Gaming.com recently about the block-based puzzle title coming out soon. Information on Konductra has been rather scarce; here Dunlop talks about the gameplay, multiplayer, independent development and the possibility of Wii projects.
NS: Before we get into the nitty-gritty, how bout a brief outline of the aim of the multiplayer mode?
ID: It's basically to beat your opponent and increase your rank. It uses the basic mechanics as we mentioned at the start of this. However, it adds a couple of twists. On the top screen you can view your opponent's board (nothing new there). However, when you shatter a color token on your board it actually causes that same location on your opponents board to flip over, making the square temporarily unplayable. To rectify this your opponent can tap that square to flip it back. Also, if you create and shatter vertical lines you will throw blocks on to your opponents board, hindering their ability to attack you. It can get quite hectic.
