News: Kuju Develops For Nintendo

English development studio "Kuju" is to develop for Nintendo!

Kuju, the London-based English development studio has been engaged to develop a "major" new title exclusively for the Nintendo Gamecube and to be published by the Japanese giant itself. No further news on the title has been made available.

The news is good for Kuju itself as it saw its' share price rise to a price of 20p per share following the announcement of the exclusive development deal -a sign perhaps that there is still some confidence in Nintendos' earning power.

Any idea who Kuju are? Well, does the name Warhammer 40,000: FireWarrior mean anything to you? The game was developed by Kuju for the PS2 and PC as an online first person shooter and was their most prolific title to date. While it was a good title, receiving a fair amount of critical praise, it soon dropped out of sight from the main shelves. With any luck and with Nintendo behind them, the developer could see a boost in sales. That's assuming that any marketing for the game goes on...
