Character and weapon info revealed inside, along with some rather pretty new screens and artwork!

Frick, Tumble and Pop. Not the new names of the Rice Krispies mascots, but some of the major characters in the new Mana DS game, as revealed recently by Japanese gaming magazine Jump.

Frick is a fifteen and lives in the main land of Illusia, where the Mana series takes place. He is cheerful, active and brave. Tumble on the other hand is not from Illusia, but has come to live there recently. She is a sixteen-year-old girl who has a strong sense of truth and responsibility.

Finally, Pop is a nine-year-old boy who does things his own way and fears nothing. These are just three of the characters featured in the new game, but the only ones we have information on right now.

In the game you can equip a different weapon to two buttons, and there'll be a variety available. Short range weapons like swords, long distance weapons like bows plus various magic attacks such as "flare." Additionally, every weapon has a super move that can be performed once you've filled a "Fever Gauge" by defeating enemies well through standard attacks.
