According to Capcom there are no plans to bring Professor Layton Vs. Ace Attorney out in America or Europe.

When Professor Layton Vs. Ace Attorney was announced yesterday it not only took the fans by surprise but it also made them very excited very quickly. Unfortunately it seems like that excitement may be short lived as there are apparently no plans to release the game outside of Japan at the moment.

An update on the Capcom Unity blog has stated that there are currently no plans to localise the game for Western audiences.

"One snag though. The game has only been announced for Japan. Want it available outside of Japan? Shout out in the comments! The more comments we get for this blog post, the better!"

If you would like to see this game released for the 3DS in Europe and America head over to the blog and let them know. Perhaps Capcom currently feel that the two game series are not big enough in the West but whatever the reason hopefully some grass routes campaigning can get this game localised without any objections.
