Check out the hilarious Japanese TV spots for the latest Touch Generations title, Eigo Zuke. We've all likely been in those siutations...
Ever been caught in a whirlpool of confusion as a native speaker of some language you are not very tight with buffets you with words and phrases that seem to just fly over your head? Such is the premise of these new commericals for Eigo Zuke, the newest title in Nintendo's wildly successful "Touch Generations" line of DS software. The blank stares and forced smiles within are just so dead-on.
The game, whose full title Eigo ga Nigate na Otona no DS Training: Eigo Zuke roughly translates to "DS Training for Adults Who Are Bad At English", is actually based off a popular computer application. It aims to provide a convenient DS-enhanced learning tool for the seemingly treacherous (yet ubiquitous) language. Not only will the touch screen figure prominently into the interactive lessons, but the microphone as well: a great practice outlet for the self-conscious.
Again, you can find the four Eigo Zuke TV spots here on Nintendo's Touch-DS Japanese site.
