GBA and DS versions of the title have been revealed by LucasArt's David Perkinson in an interview with gaming site IGN. Based on the high-action points of the original three movies rather than the prequels, the game has already been confirmed as coming to GameCube.

While console versions of the game will have 2-player co-op mode, the DS will reportedly also recieve a 4-player co-op mode as well! Touch screen features will be implemented into the game for customising characters easily. The game will also feature single cart download-play, allowing up to four people to compete in a "versus" mode.
