Professor Layton on Wii U? We wouldn't say no.

Japanese magazine Famitsu recently spoke to a number of developers about what they think of the Wii U and Andriasang has kindly translated it. One particularly comment that has caught our eye comes from Akihiro Hino, Level-5's president and CEO.

According to Andriasang he noted that due to the stylus input possibilities of the Wii U they can consider ports of their DS games such as Professor Layton. The series has been incredibly popular around the world and been well received by fans and critics alike so this is bound to be pleasing to hear for fans.

However, it is not just ports Level-5 are considering. Mr. Hino stated that the console helps to expand the type of games that can be played at home so they are considering this as well. Level-5 has yet to announce any Wii U titles but hopefully we should hear something soon.

The rest of the participants, which included spokespeople for Capcom, Sega, Tecmo Koei and others, all had positive things to say about Wii U.
