The Dragon Quest developers sign up to create a new tie-in for Namco Bandai's Gundam franchise...

Namco Bandai has employed the services of Level-5 on a new branch of the Gundam franchise, which will see the Fukuoka-based studio developing video game tie-ins. Level-5's CEO Akihiro Hino will be creating the story and framework for the 'Gundam Age' series, and his company have been confirmed to be developing an RPG.

Platforms for the new title have not been confirmed, but Level-5 has worked heavily on Nintendo systems as of late, developing the Professor Layton and Inazuma Eleven series, Dragon Quest IX and upcoming original 3DS IPs Time Travellers and Fantasy Life.
