Glory Days 2 DS - Brotherhood of Men

News: Lexicon Bringing Glory Days To DS

The DS gets a new war simulation, in the shape of Glory Days 2 DS - Brotherhood of Men. Optional 3D glasses included!

Explosive action is yet again to take place on your DS, as gamers must endeavour to destroy enemy command centre with tanks, helicopters, V2s, drones, bombers and paratroopers and cunning strategic deployment of ground units in this new DS action title.

To capture and preserve your bunker is one important key in the long route to victory - this allows you some resources. To create a winning force, to have the fire power and hardware to win the day, money will play a pivotal part within the game. Use your heliport to fly civilians or preserve bunkers; all of which gain momentary rewards to buy much needed armourment.

Perhaps most interestingly, the game's press release reveals the game supports "Optional 3D glasses, a first for the DS". Whether the title will optionally display in a setting which can be tricked into 3D by a pair of included specs, we're looking into now - so stay tuned. The idea certainly is intriguing.

The game apparently boasts some impressive AI to ensure both human and weapon behavioral implementation to present a sense of awareness and reality, while touch screen input will allow the gamer to fly and direct your helicopter, V2 and drone via touch screen and pad.

Multiplayer options range from two to eight players both in competition and co-operative modes. Distinct objectives can be assigned to each player from controlling and saving civilians in a helicopter, whilst a friend controls air space in a plane, to form the perfect alliance of skills.

Eight different locales with plenty of variations, large battlefields with up to 250 ground units and a huge campaign mode with 16 missions where the player relives the life of three different pilots in three different times round off this title's features. Developed by indie developers ODenis StudioGlory and publishers Lexicon Entertainment, we'll have more on this title when we can.
