Genki's obscure Japanese puzzler Lonpos has been rated for an Australian release by the OFLC.

Gamers in the land of the rising sun have been enjoying Genki's obscure puzzler Lonpos since the WiiWare service's launch back in March. This odd little game sees you strategically placing coloured puzzle pieces into a playing board. However, they only fit in in a certain way, so we'd imagine you'll end up suffering a few 'tearing-hair-from-your-own-scalp' moments.

Good news for fans of the genre - Australia's ratings board, the OFLC, have rated Lonpos for a WiiWare release in Australia. As all Virtual Console and WiiWare games are released at the same time in Europe and Australia, we can take this as confirmation that the title will see a release in Europe too.

Lonpos should be available for 1,000 Wii Points, with nine additional puzzle packs being available as downloadable content for 500 Wii Points each.
