Activision, Inc. takes gamers on a mysterious journey in Lost Kingdoms. There they face an evil power that threatens the future of the world. Lost Kingdoms is the first real-time RPG for the GameCube. Activision will release the game worldwide, co operating with Japanese publisher and developer FromSoftware, Inc. The game will have an ESRB “T” (Teen) rating, and will be available this Spring.

In Lost Kingdoms will control beautiful hero Princess Katia on her quest to destroy the five dark forces that threaten the Kingdom of Argwyll. During this adventure, gamers will have to collect magical carts that contain the power to collect monsters. These creatures will fight the many monsters that you will face during your journey.

“Lost Kingdoms will have gamers experience an epical fantasy world full of magic, monsters and mystery,” according to Larry Goldberg, executive vice president van Activision Worldwide Studios. “The game guarantees a fantastic 3D experience, where guardian creature cards that you have to collect, allow you to call creatures, control them and have them fight against the Evil.

While playing, gamers will discover and and investigate 24, graphical very detailed 3D. During the journey you are able to collect 100 ‘Guardian Cards’. These cards allow you to call for monsters and control them; like screaming wolves, fighting skelletons and fire bursting dragons. While main character Katia gets more experienced, the to-call creatures and their special attact abillities will get stronger.

Next to single player story mode, gamers can fight their friends in the two- player versus mode.
