2009 will see a specific couple of "major" EA and Konami titles heading to Wii next year. Find out more inside...

Looking ahead to potential software hits of 2009, IGN have stated that Wii owners will be able to look forward to some upcoming "exciting announcements" from Electronic Arts, Konami and Ubisoft. The site claims to be in the know of a least two IPs from EA and Konami that would make Wii fans "flip over".

Apart from that, games we're looking to hear more about next year include Ubisoft's Red Steel 2, "unexpected big guns" from Capcom (a new Resi title, perhaps?) and Nintendo's own offerings in the shape of Wii Sports Resort, and the as yet unseen Kid Icarus, Pikmin 3, Mario Galaxy and the next Zelda.
