News: Manhunt 2 To Attack America This Halloween

Rockstar have altered Manhunt 2 to reduce the US rating from AO to M, and set the release date for Halloween...
In June, Manhunt 2 was due for release. The title was suspended after it was rejected ratings in multiple countries (Including the UK and Ireland), and given an AO rating in the US.
Now, Rockstar have toned down the game to convince the ESRB to give Manhunt 2 an M rating. The release date for the US is the 31st October 2007 - Halloween. Details on what has changed have not yet been revealed, and it's unknown how the new version of the game will affect ratings elsewhere. Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar had this to say about the new rating:
"Manhunt 2 is important to us, and we're glad it can finally be appreciated as a gaming experience. We love the horror genre. Manhunt 2 is a powerful piece of interactive story telling that is a unique video game experience. We think horror fans will love it."
We will bring you any updates as and when they happen.
