Talking to French magazine Gamekult, gaming God Shigeru Miyamoto revealed a couple of tidbits about Mario 128. Firstly, it's likely to recieve a name change before it's release which, surprisingly, should be before the end of the year in Japan.

Bigger news though, many people criticised Sunshine for it's lack of innovation, and Miyamoto has stated before that a true sequel to the 64-bit wonder will arrive. In the interview he told the magazine that Mario 128 had in fact been in development even longer than the first GC Mario outing.
