On July 28, Mushroom Kingdom residents are invited to celebrate the grand opening of two new celebrity-designed golf courses at Mushroom Kingdom Country Club (MKCC). Video game icon, Mario, has worked tirelessly to create the most innovative links the golfing world has ever seen. Under his careful supervision, course landscaping with Piranha Plants and course transportation has been completely revamped�just wait until you see the new warp pipes he installed. Plus, Mario has coordinated a cheerleading support group, the MKCC Driving Divas, to motivate players through tricky spots, Chomp Chains and Thwomps. As part of the grand-opening celebration, all membership dues will be waived with a one-time $49.99 joining fee.

"With our one-of-a-kind golfing experience, Mushroom Kingdom Country Club has gone to great 'links' to satisfy players," says Mario. "Our free lessons, diverse personnel and eye-popping ambience are attracting prospective new members of all ages and skill levels. Plus, on my courses, you'll never have to wait for a tee time."

Players are encouraged to grab their golf clubs and head to the exclusive Mushroom Kingdom Country Club available only on Nintendo GameCube in Mario Golf Toadstool Tour.

Fans of Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour can play solo or with up to three other players for a friendly foursome competition. For even more fun, Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour features a number of different courses that golfers unlock as they win tournaments, providing players the opportunity to explore more than 10 different play modes, each with its own unique challenges. Additionally, golfers can employ one of two brand-new swing arrangements that add topspin, sidespin or backspin to shots for greater control. Finally, players can connect with the upcoming Mario Golf: Advance Tour for Game Boy Advance and transfer characters to the Nintendo GameCube.
