News: Mario Kart, Chronos Twins, Golf & Spaceball

Here's your weekly run-down of all things downloadable from Nintendo this week - for the Virtual Console, WiiWare and DSiWare!

Headlining this week's releases is Super Mario Kart, which, as we reported earlier this week is out today for 800 Points. The SNES founder of the hit karting series, see where it all started here.

Meanwhile on WiiWare this week you can find Chronos Twins DX, an adventure title from EnjoyUp Games, costing 700 Wii Points. A blur of platforming, adventuring and puzzle-solving, you play through two time periods simultaneously to progress, with changes in the past effecting the present in real-time.

Also on WiiWare this week is Family Mini Golf from developers Aksys Games, costing 500 Wii Points. Featuring yet more Golfing action with obstacles that range from bumpers, to speed ramps, to fans, and more. Up to eight players can play with one another using a single Wii Remote, and more courses as DLC.

Over on the handheld side of things comes AiRace: Tunnel from QubicGames, costing 200 Points it allows you into Project Tunnel, devised to examine the quickness and reflexes of aviation rookies, flying aircraft through winding tunnels full of traps. For 800 Points comes Oscar in Movieland from Virtual Playground, a sequel to platformer Oscar in Toyland where Oscar now explores the world of movies.

For 500 Points you can download Puzzle to Go Diddl from Tivola Publishing, which is essentially jigsaw puzzles, and the ability to include images of your own from the DSi camera. You can choose the number of pieces, up to 130 per pic! Finally, Virtual Toys are releasing a DSi version of Spaceball: Revolution, a great against-the-clock futuristic puzzle game which we rather enjoyed on the Wii. It costs 500 Points.
