The DS incarnation of Mario Kart is to feature four classic tracks you may have seen before...

As you can see from the screenshot below (courtesy of DS Revolution), Mario Kart DS is to feature a Retro Cup, with four tracks from previous incarnations of the game playable.

Other tracks shown so far have included a beach level and a Luigi's Mansion themed track. In the original E3 2004 demo there was also a version of Double Dash's Yoshi Circuit, though it is unknown if this has made it into the final game.

We'll have more news on the game and a full confirmed course list closer to the game's release later this year.
