The sales figures for last week are in, and Mario Kart: Double Dash!! has been selling like mad. In the first week alone 207,600 copies of the game were sold. Not only did the game perform well, but also more GameCube consoles were sold.

As you can see almost the same amount of GameCube and Playstation 2 consoles were sold last week in Japan, which is almost never the case. Unfortunately for Bill, the Xbox is still having some trouble getting recognized.
