The third instalment in the acclaimed handheld Mario & Luigi RPG series is coming to the DS in Europe this October!

After having his flesh incinerated by lava pits, swinging bombs and, more recently, a supernova, it seems that Bowser just can't catch a break. It looks like the Koopa King's fortunes are about to change, as he's teaming up with the Mario Bros. for an all-new adventure on the DS in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story!

The good news is that you won't have to wait long at all to get your hands on this highly anticipated little gem, as Nintendo have announced that Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story will see a release in Europe on October 9th!

The action kicks off when the deceitful Fawful tricks Bowser into ingesting a mushroom which in turn causes Bowser to become a makeshift high-powered vacuum cleaner, sucking up everything in sight - including Mario and Luigi. Trapped in Bowser's nefarious innards, the brothers must work alongside their nemesis in order to foil Fawful's plans for kingdom domination and save the Mushroom Kingdom.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story follows the turn-based RPG formula of the previous two Mario & Luigi games, but introduces more touch-screen based gameplay (including minigames), the ability to perform all of Bowser's special attacks with the stylus, and during Bowser's particularly gigantic boss battles, the DS can be flipped and held Brain Training-style to accommodate both Bowser and his gargantuan foe.
