Well after speculation Nintendo have revealed the special way you will be able to play Mario Party 6.

After months of speculation it has finally been revealed that to play Mario Party 6 you will need a microphone. But fret not, it comes with the game.

For the next Mario Party title Nintendo will include 75 all-new mini-games, six fresh game boards and a Nintendo GameCube Mic. The game is set to feature mini-games such as Mowtown, Catch You Letter, Astaroad Rage and Cashapult, all new for this version and some of them will require you to use the mic.

As well as this the game will have a day and night mode, where the board changes depending on which mode its in. Not only this but the mini-games change as well.

Nintendo also promise faster movement, a criticism of previous titles.

The storyline for the title is the usual half-attempt. Brighton and Twila, that is the sun and the moon, are in fierce competition to see who is best. Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Daisy, Wario, Waluigi, Boo, Koopa Kid, Bowser, Donkey Kong and Toad will all help to settle the difference, but it is not known if you can play as all of those characters at the moment.

The microphone will be usable in some mini-games but also in a game show style mode, where players must answer questions. It will apparently also help speed up movements.
