Production issues hinder the release of Mario Party 8, causing the game to be delayed...

According to Computer and Video Games, Mario Party 8 has been delayed.

The production issues only seem to effect the UK version of the game, so other places in Europe may still get Mario Party 8 on the 22nd June, for those in the UK, you will have to wait until the 13th July at the earliest. Nintendo apologise for the delay, and claim that they are doing all the can to sort out the issue.

Mario Party 8 is the first game in the Mario Party series to take advantage of the Wii Remote, and it's hoped that this will spring some new life into the series.

Update: Nintendo have confirmed that this delay only affects the UK. The rest of Europe will still get the game on the 22nd June.
