News: Mario Party 9 Stays Top in Japan

Sales take a sluggish turn in post-Golden Week blues...

The latest Media Create charts are out, and they're in somewhat jarring contrast to the previous week. With the Golden Week period now over, sales across the board were not only down significantly, but seemed to yet again enter the traditional May low.

It of course didn't help that there was hardly anything new out. Starhawk on PS3 was the only charting new entry at number 4, which meant the latest in the leggy Mario Party series stayed at the top spot for the second week running.

Almost half of the top 20 was composed of 3DS games.
