News: Mario & Sonic Slides To Worldwide Success

Sega announces avalanchean sales for Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games!

Sega has beamingly announced that Mario and Sonic's second collaborative effort has proven just as successful as their first, with Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games surpassing six million units sold worldwide on Wii and DS.

The Sega-developed winter sports compilation released in October last year, and - like the duo's 2007 Olympic outing - enjoyed strongly consistent sales throughout the holiday period. The publisher has announced they are set to increase their volume of marketing for the game to tie in with the current Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Not one of the six million to own the game? If you're still on the fence, check out N-Europe's reviews of both the Wii and DS titles here and here, respectively.
