Koji Kondo has confirmed which ten tracks will be featured on the upcoming Super Mario All-Stars soundtrack.

While Nintendo confirmed a while ago that anyone who picks up Super Mario All-Stars will get a free soundtrack they had yet to announce which of the numerous memorable songs will be included until now. The game offers gamers the chance to relieve some of Mario's classic games in his 25 year history and the soundtrack lets you do the same for the music.

Speaking to Satoru Iwata in a new 'Iwata Asks' Koji Kondo claimed that he agonised over the choice before finally realising what would be best. "At first I was worried about how to structure the compilation, but then I decided the fans would probably be most pleased to hear one representative song from each of the ten games from the original Super Mario Bros. through Super Mario Galaxy 2."
