Mario Power Tennis is going to be released next year in Europe, which leaves me wondering, will they eat mushrooms and cream or stick with strawberries?

The likes of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Wario and Donkey Kong and more than eight others are all heading to the GameCube next February to play a nice friendly game of tennis. Well, if your definition of 'friendly' includes power shots and introduction scenes involving mass bombing.

With over eight courts, ranging from Wario's Factory Court, a mechanical mayhem, to DK Jungle Court, which is suspended in the jungle. Each court and player promises to bring a unique experience to the two modes of play on offer, Exhibition mode and Tournament mode, the later of which opens up secret characters, mini-games and courses.

Due to launch on 25th February in Europe this game promises as much mayhem, craziness and multiplayer fun as all of the Mario sports titles that have preceded it.
