News: Marvellous Mario Mosaic

The patience of some Nintendo fans is quite astounding, as proven yet again by a street artist in Seattle...

Anyone remember seeing the multi-storey masterpiece the other week: hundreds or even thousands of post-it notes stuck to the side of building, recreating a level of the original arcade version of Donkey Kong, complete with all the right colours, in-game items and characters? There are a lot more people out there with that type of dedication, as proven by the following photograph:

A dedicated Nintendo fan has recreated a part of one of the levels from Super Mario Bros. on the NES, using post-it notes and a hell of a lot of staples, on a tree on a small road in Seattle. It must have taken an extremely long time to finish this work of art, down to the very last pixel. In fact, it may have taken so long that the artist might have gone sleepless in Seattle...
