Datel announce the launch of the MAX Drive for Gamecube. The memory card with a difference finally arrives on your cube.

So what exactly is it? At its most basic level it is a memory card that gives you 64mbit of storage space which is 16 times the size of a standard memory card, which should be enough for anyone. However it differs in that it also has a USB port which allows you to connect the memory card to your PC, and using the Datel software you can download your game saves, or copy them back to the memory card.

Besides giving some means of backup for your game saves, it also means that you can send game saves to friends, post them online or download from websites online.
