Easy Interactive are set to bring Press Play's under-appreciated WiiWare gem to Wii and Nintendo DS next month!

The few who downloaded Max and the Magic Marker when it hit WiiWare last year were treated to a pretty creative platformer. The Crayon Physics-esque gameplay that was on offer in order to get the eponymous hero to the end of each level threw up some pretty impressive player freedom, and it's still well worth a download in our humble opinion.

But publisher Easy Interactive is to give Press Play's title another shot, releasing Max and the Magic Marker in retail form for Nintendo loyalists to enjoy. The game will hit both Wii and Nintendo DS on June 30th.

The handheld iteration will perfectly marry the stylus to the game's titular creative utensil, while the Wii version throws in an extra tutorial mode to offer hints and tips for newbie players to craft their inventive minds.
