A sequel to the WiiWare Mega Man 9 is on the way, fittingly titled... Mega Man 10!

Mega Man fans rejoice! US publication Nintendo Power has revealed that a brand new Mega Man 10 is on the way for WiiWare next year. Capcom released 9 for WiiWare earlier this year, with both gameplay and graphics harking back to the series' classic roots.

The game will be all-new, and will feature a new boss named Sheep Man, who is able to shock players with electrical attacks. Mega Man, Proto Man, and a third secret character will all be playable.

The title will be launching early in 2010 - stay tuned for more as it breaks.
