Capcom pulls the plug on their insight into the development process known as Mega Man Legends 3 Project.

When Capcom announced Mega Man Legends 3 Project their intention was to give gamers an insight into the development process and allow them to influence the choices that get made. However, according to Capcom the project has now been terminated.

In the official statement released on their website Capcom note that whether or not the project would go into full production was "based on a number of criteria with input from different sectors of the company," and in this instance it did not meet the criteria.

Capcom also claim that they will not release the project in any form publicly, so hopes of a release on the eShop are ill-fated. The statement says that they hope to allow for creative input from fans again in the future but in what capacity this will be in remains to be seen.
