Those looking interested in Capcom's Resident Evil Revelations might want to look ahead to the more action-packed Mercenaries...

Capcom's two 3DS Resident Evil games are certainly impressive-looking. Unfortunately, they're also quite a way away, with Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D not due to release in Japan until June and Resident Evil Revelations expected much later in the year. Thankfully though, the wait for the latter might now just be a bit more bearable.

Aussie-Nintendo reports that The Mercenaries 3D will include a demo of Revelations on the cartridge when it hits Japan on June 2nd. Such a demo has not been confirmed yet for worldwide versions of the game, but we see no reason not to expect it.

The demo in question would appear to be the one doing the rounds at the Nintendo World event earlier in the year, which would mean gamers will get a brief-but-tantalising first glimpse of Revelations running in 3D.
