... to rejoin Nintendo America! Could he be leaving to help with a global launch of the Revolution?

Nintendo of Europe's Senior Marketing Director, Jim Merrick - the man who promised the Revolution will be launched worldwide in 16 weeks - is returning to his previous employers Nintendo of America after working in Europe for 3 years.

Speaking to Eurogamer about the move, he said he was "very serious about [Nintendo] trying to be a more global company", rather than following the "the stereotypical formula of Japan first, then the U.S., then Europe some time later."

Could he be leaving to see a global launch of the Revolution? Only time will tell, but Revo-Europe wishes him the best of luck.
